Culture

Moderna Museet

Fotografiska
Stadsgårdshamnen 22Fotografiska is one of the world’s largest meeting places for contemporary photography. Fotografiska presents four unique large exhibitions and about 20 smaller exhibitions annually. In addition to the large exhibition, Fotografiska also houses a book and souvenir shop, a restaurant, a photo gallery. In the bar on the top floor you will find one of Stockholm’s very best vantage points.

Gamla Stan
SödermalmWith its narrow lanes and beautiful medieval buildnings, the area is echanting. It is like a city within a city with masses of shops, galleries and small intimate taverns down in the atmospheric cellar vaults. The Old Town is actually an island that connects the northern and southern parts of the city. It is here the original Stockholm sprang up more than 750 years ago. Some of the attractions in the Old Town are the Royal Palace, The Great Church (Storkyrkan) and the Christmas market on Stortorget, which is a very popular treat as Christmas approaches.

Kungliga Slottet
Slottsbacken 1Welcome to one of the largest palaces in Europe! The Royal Palace is the official residence of His Majesty the King of Sweden, with over 600 rooms.

Skansen
Djurgårdsslätten 49-51Skansen consists of the oldest open-air museum in the world and the Stockholm Zoo, with a beautiful location in Royal Djurgården and view over all of Stockholm.

ABBA The Museum

But at this museum you are an important part of the experience! they simply want you to experience the feeling of being the 5th ABBA member. To find out what you would look like in their legendary stage costumes, to sing at the Polar Studio, to experience exciting hologram illusions, and to enter the stage together with the band.

Karl XII:s TorgA classic. Sweden’s most famous dining room, in the same building as the Royal Swedish Opera. A magnificent setting, with views across the water to the Royal Palace.
